On June 17–18, DMaple participated as an official sponsor of Get Connected by Intuit QuickBooks in Toronto.
The event brought together accountants, bookkeepers, finance professionals, technology partners, and members of the Intuit QuickBooks community from across Canada to discuss the future of accounting, AI adoption, advisory services, and modern financial workflows.
For our team, Get Connected was an important step in bringing DMaple closer to the accounting and bookkeeping community. It gave us the opportunity to speak directly with the professionals who manage reporting, reconciliation, client records, and day-to-day financial operations for Canadian businesses.
This year’s agenda explored the topics shaping the future of accounting and bookkeeping, from responsible AI and the growing role of strategic advisory to sustainable growth, firm leadership, and navigating industry shifts and challenges. The program also highlighted how technology platforms and integrated tools are helping accounting professionals adapt to a rapidly changing industry.
The event also featured speakers from across the accounting and technology industries. Mainstage sessions included Shawn Kanungo on strategy in a world of disruption, Dr. Robyne Hanley-Dafoe on resiliency and workplace wellness, as well as leaders from Intuit QuickBooks and accounting firms across Canada who shared practical insights and real-world experience.
Over the two days, the DMaple team, together with the CEO, Fedor Belomoev, connected with accountants, bookkeepers, finance professionals, and firm leaders from across Canada.
The event gave us direct insight into how professionals manage reporting, reconciliation, and client records, and how international payment operations are becoming part of everyday accounting workflows.
These conversations reinforced the importance of building payout infrastructure that fits naturally into existing workflows and helps businesses maintain clearer records, better visibility, and more organized reporting.
We are grateful to the Get Connected team for creating a valuable space for the Canadian accounting community, and to everyone who visited our booth, shared their perspective, and took the time to learn more about DMaple.
