1. Introduction
This Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy outlines the procedures and principles adopted by Send Crypto Just Like That, Inc. to ensure user authenticity, deter fraud, and maintain a transparent and trustworthy crypto payment environment. DMaple operates as a non-custodial platform and does not store or control users’ digital assets. Nonetheless, we implement baseline verification measures and retain technical metadata to ensure integrity and accountability.
2. Scope of the Policy
This policy applies to:
- All end-users of the DMaple platform;
- Business account holders and their designated representatives;
- Internal employees handling user data or transaction processing.
3. User Identity Requirements
3.1 Email Verification
All users are required to verify their email address during account registration through a unique link sent to the provided email. Temporary email addresses are discouraged but not technically restricted.
3.2 IP-based Country Alerts
Upon login, users receive a notification about the detected IP-based location. While access is not restricted by jurisdiction, users are reminded to comply with applicable laws in their region.
3.3. PII and BII Collection
DMaple collects personally identifiable information (PII) for standard user accounts, such as:
- Full name
- Full residential address
- Mobile or landline phone number and email address
- Date and place of birth
- Gender
- Citizenship and residence status
- Occupation, position, name or employer's name
- An official individual identification number or other unique identifier
DMaple collects business identifiable information (BII) for standard business accounts, such as:
- Name, legal form, document confirming the formation of a legal entity
- Permanent address of the main place of business of the legal entity
- Postal and registered address of the legal entity
- Identification data of individuals who are allowed to manage the account; in the absence of a specially authorized person, identification data of a senior manager
- Contact phone numbers
- Official identification number
- Documents that regulate the activities of a legal entity or are mandatory for its execution
- The identity of the beneficial owners
- The nature and purpose of the legal entity's activities, and its legitimacy
- Financial position of the legal entity
4. Risk Categories & Limitations
4.1 High-Risk Countries
While DMaple does not block access based on geography, we maintain a watchlist aligned with FATF recommendations and may introduce restrictions if regulatory concerns arise.
4.2 No Transaction ThresholdsT
here are currently no transaction limits that trigger identity checks Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD). However, risk detection is applied behaviorally and / or not volume-based.
5. Record Keeping
We retain the following metadata indefinitely, in encrypted format:
- PII and BII- User email and IP addresses;
- Device/browser fingerprint;
- Transaction history;
- Network fee records;
- Access timestamps.
This data is accessible only to internal compliance officers and is used for behavioral analysis and fraud prevention.
6. Review and Updates
This policy is reviewed and revised as regulatory requirements evolve and the company's internal procedures or as additional partners (e.g., fiat gateways) require higher verification standards.
